This music video really spoke to me… I laugh every time I watch
it! When DID Mötley Crüe become classic rock?

Stella Awards:
"The Stella Awards were inspired by Stella
Liebeck. In 1992, Stella, then 79, spilled a cup of McDonald's coffee
onto her lap, burning herself. A New Mexico jury awarded her $2.9
million in damages, but that's
not the whole story."
Hilarious, and
very , very sad.

Places to Stay While Travelling -
(please feel free to suggest places for this list)
- Good Places to Stay:
There are piles of them out there. These ones we recommend highly
-
Italy: Venice,
Palazzo
Zenobio: Very cool - stayed in the library of a 300+ year old
palace! Well located, with nice accommodations.
-
Italy: Ravenna,
HI/AIG
Dante: Quite possibly the best youth hostel in Italy - new, clean,
comfortable, convenient
-
Italy: Firenze,
HI/AIG
Europa Villa Camerata: not quite as nice, and a bit of a trek from
the centre of town, but it is fun to stay in a 16th century palace.
The hostel bar was quite lively.
-
Italy: Pisa,
Hotel Roseto:
This place was awesome. Recently remodelled, comfortable, and
right by the train station.
-
Scotland:
Inverness, Ach Aluinn: Fantastic
accommodation, great location, nice people, yummy breakfast
-
Scotland: Skye,
The
Anchorage B&B: Great location for exploring the island, comfortable
accommodation, tough to find, nice people, yummy breakfast
-
Scotland: Lewis
(Callanish),
Mrs. Catherine Morrison B&B: Right by the stones, comfortable
accommodation, nice people, yummy breakfast
-
Scotland: Lewis
(Stornoway), Fernlea:
Beautiful place, convenient to Stornoway and ferries, very comfortable.
- BAD Places To Stay: It
has to be pretty bad to make this list....
-
Scotland: Edinburgh,
Clifton
Private Hotel: Simply awful. Apparently it used to be very
nice (~2000). We think that they guy kept this as part of his
divorce settlement, and it had been his wife running it before.
The rooms were terrible, the guy was rude, the food was disgraceful.
