Day 8: Not a nice breakfast at all today, but that may be for the best anyhow.  Edinburgh is a lovely city.  It is the capital of Scotland, and the home to their new parliament building.  They managed to surpass the aqua-ferris-wheel and the silly monorail up a mountain by stretching a £40million budget to £430million, and finishing three years behind schedule.  Aside from that awful looking building, the rest of the town is very pretty and historic.  We spent the whole day walking around touring the castle (home to the Scottish Crown Jewels), the Royal Mile (basically a timeline of Edinburgh in stone) and the Royal Yacht Britannia (the floating palace of the royals).  We capped the evening off by having dinner with Harry Fisher (one of the men who was shot down with Jon's Grandpa).

Day 9: A bit of last-minute sight-seeing including Stirling Castle, and off to the airport to fly back to London.
